Each year in the United States more than 200,000 people are hospitalized from serious flu-related complications.  The one and only way to protect YOUR employees against the flu is to get vaccinated each year.

Of those who receive the flu vaccine, 43% use fewer sick days, and 44% have fewer doctor visits than those who opt not to vaccinate.  Employers that want to limit health care costs and increase productivity are choosing to offer Flu Clinic’s for their employees.  HealthCare for Business can provide this important vaccine for your employees and distribute educational materials and reminder flyers to post in your work place.  We can tell you if your current health plans cover your Flu Vaccinations or what cost your employee’s are responsible for.

Vaccination— rates to be posted soon, or call for more information

If you have offered Flu Clinic’s in the past and want to boost participation, employers should consider covering all or a portion of the vaccination cost, which can lead to 30% higher participation rates.  You may also consider offering flu shots to employees’ family members either at the Flu Clinic or at the HealthCare for Business Painesville medical office.  No appointment necessary!  Too often, employees that receive the flu vaccination end up taking time off to care for sick spouses or children who were not vaccinated.
